How do I register for courses at Etoile Institut?

You can register directly via our online registration form
or by emailing us at contact@etoileinstitut.com.

You will be asked to pay 50% of your tuition fees in full at the time of registration, with the exception of au-pair students, who must pay at least one term's tuition. The remaining 50% must be paid before the start of your course.

We accept payment directly at the office by cash, cheque or credit card, but also by bank transfer.

With the exception of beginners, courses can start on any Monday.

Once we've received your placement test, we'll pass it on to our training manager, who will assess your language skills, profile and needs.

A placement in a class that matches your skills and needs will then be decided.

At Etoile Institut, we're committed to giving you the opportunity to experience and study French in the most comprehensive way possible. With tailor-made courses designed by our teachers, you'll develop both your oral and written skills. French culture and civilization are an integral part of our courses: visits to museums, neighborhoods, parks, tastings and themed outings are regularly scheduled and included in your tuition fees.

Etoile Institut is an accredited examination center, so we have integrated official French certification into each of our courses:

  • the Ev@lang test for stays of 1 to 4 weeks (L'Initial program),
  • TCF for stays of 5 weeks or more (Le Certifiant program) and for students in the "La Prépa" program
  • DELF/DALF for students in the "Le Diplômant" program.

The school diploma will be awarded to all students who have completed a stay of 24 weeks or more and who have met the requirements for graduation. A certificate of attendance can be issued at the end of the stay, as well as throughout the course.

What is the aim of the Le Diplômant program?
Le Diplômant prepares students not only to achieve an advanced level of French, but also to develop the skills needed to pursue higher education or professional experience in France. Students who successfully complete all program modules and pass the DELF B1, B2 or DALF C1 exam earn ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System). DELF B2 is often a prerequisite for international students wishing to study in French institutions. Consequently, this course offers students the opportunity to prepare for this exam and strengthen their candidacy for further study in a higher education institution.
The program runs for a fixed period of 6 months, starting in September and ending in March.
Yes, students can enroll in additional courses before or after the 24-week program.
To enter the program, students must have at least an A1.2 level of French. However, beginners are also welcome if they register for our French courses at least 3 weeks before the start of the Diplômant.
At the end of the course, students take the DELF or DALF exams, depending on their level of proficiency.
Students also take an online course focusing on French culture and current affairs, as well as workshops to prepare them for studying or working in France. Individual academic coaching takes place throughout the program to help students succeed.
The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is used to quantify and compare academic results across Europe. The 30 ECTS credits obtained through the Diplômant are internationally recognized for the transfer of university credits. To receive the ECTS transcript, students must pass all program modules with sufficient marks and good attendance.
No, the program runs on fixed dates from September to March. It is essential that students adhere to the schedule if they are to complete the course successfully.
While these language certifications can strengthen a student's application, admission requirements at French universities can vary. The Le Diplômant program aims to support students, but it should be noted that admission to a French university depends on compliance with each university's specific criteria.
