On Monday March 10, Étoile Institut organized a memorable charity day, marked by the generosity and commitment of our international students. The day was an opportunity to celebrate solidarity while discovering the riches of the French cheese heritage, an essential aspect of French culture.
Cheese tasting with Guillaume from Paroles de Fromagers
Our French students had the pleasure of participating in a tasting of three cheeses, carefully selected by Guillaume from Paroles de Fromagers. The tasting experience was enriched by Guillaume's fascinating explanations of the world of cheese, its origins and production methods. The students were able to enjoy every mouthful while enriching their knowledge of this emblematic product of French gastronomy, and practicing the French language in an authentic context.
Collection of foodstuffs and hygiene products
At the same time, we organized a collection of foodstuffs and hygiene products in partnership with the Banque Alimentaire de Paris Île-de-France. Eliane, the association's representative, took the time to explain to the students the missions and impact of the Banque Alimentaire in our community. Thanks to everyone's generosity, we were able to collect an impressive 105 kg of produce! These donations will help to support people in need and reinforce the Food Bank's solidarity actions.
A unifying and enriching event
The charity day was a real success, both in human and educational terms. It raised our students' awareness of the importance of solidarity and mutual aid, while offering them a unique cultural experience. Learning French in Paris also means discovering the richness of international student life and immersing yourself in French culture. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to all the participants, and to our partners, for their commitment and generosity.
